I can’t say it enough WAKE UP! The Wall Street thieves are sending the price of oil off the wall to make buck$$$$$. When the price hits $4.00 we should take to the streets and make Egypt look like a birthday party!
Years ago we received “full service” at 35cents a gallon. They checked under the hood, aired up your tires, washed your windshield, as well as pumping the gas. They gave Green Stamps or Gold Bond Stamps that you saved up and ordered all kinds of products for so many books of stamps. If you filled up your tank they offered promotional items such as baseball caps, coffee mugs, fancy bumper stickers, tiger tails (stuffed tail you attached to your gas tank cap to “put a tiger in your tank”).
They have forgotten the consumer you can’t even get free air when you fill up its about 50 cents. They need to be reminded again we are here sooo…. We use 1x4 inch address labels for our mailings. We have started printing “If we simply tarred & feathered the top two executives of every major oil company in America, by week’s end gas prices would be down drastically.” The Right Reverend Jackson Stonewall. Then ever time we get gas we leave them a little present on the pump, a sticker. They will scrape them off ASAP but many folks read them and district managers hear about it, big time.
What does it take to get folks off their butts and in the streets? Are we ALL cowards? I’ve been fighting the fight for years and never quit. Join in; think outside the box, gorilla theater WORKS! Don’t be afraid to make your voice heard.
