April 13 Panel Discussion about SOA at Goshen College

Representatives from School of the Americas Watch (SOAW) will meet with representatives from the U.S. Army to engage in a panel discussion over the role U.S. foreign policy plays in Latin America. Also present will be representatives from the Mennonite church, discussing how Christians engage the political system. The event will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm, April 13, at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana.

Representatives from School of the Americas Watch (SOAW) will meet with representatives from the U.S. Army to engage in a panel discussion over the role U.S. foreign policy plays in Latin America. Also present will be representatives from the Mennonite church, discussing how Christians engage the political system. The event will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm, April 13, at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana.

Father Roy Bourgeois, founder of SOAW, and Linda Panetta will represent SOAW. The U.S. Army will be represented by Kenneth LaPlante, Senior Advisor and Analyst for Western Hemisphere Affairs. John D. Roth, a professor at Goshen College, and Zulma Prieto, a native of Colombia, will represent Mennonite perspectives. Goshen College professor Carolyn Schrock-Shenk will moderate the discussion.

This event is wheelchair accessible. Spanish translation will be available.
