Exactly what crimes have Bradley Manning and Julian Assange committed? They're not accused of murder or racketeering. They didn't act out of greed or hatred.

They don't face the prospect of spending the rest of their lives in jail for these things; rather, theirs is a crime of revealing the truth in a world grown accustomed to darkness.

In serving the God of truth they've angered the god of empire.

We all must stand in their defense, for a culture of truth, democracy, and human rights.
