Over the past few weeks, WikiLeaks has released thousands of secret U.S. State Department cables, exposing Washington's confidential discussions of international issues and assessments of heads of state. With less than one percent of the estimated 250,000 cables published on the Internet or in the pages of five newspapers that were given the entire archive, there is the potential for future dramatic revelations.
