ISO Forum: Fighting Sexism

International Socialist Organization-Chicago Loop Branch
Bi-Weekly Forum:
SEXISM--WHERE DOES IT COME FROM, HOW CAN WE FIGHT IT?
Thursday, March 14, 7:00pm
Harold Washington College, 30 E. Lake Street, Room 806
From the war on welfare and abortion rights, to the disgusting depiction of women in the media, sexism is obviously alive and well in America today.

Women supposedly have never had it so good, yet women's lives are getting harder and harder--particularly the lives of poor and working class women.

Access to quality childcare and healthcare, equal wages for equal work, respect and dignity--these are just a few of the things that ordinary women are denied on a daily basis.

Join this discussion of why it is that sexism exists, where it comes from and how we can fight it together. Thursday, March 14, 7:00pm at Harold Washington College, 30 E. Lake Street, Room 806. Sponsored by the Loop Branch of the International Socialist Organization.
