AIPAC (America Israel Public Affairs Committee) is having their national summit in Chicago. Chicagoans Against Apartheid in Palestine will be hosting an educational forum Saturday, October 25 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM at the UIC Student Center Room 605 (750 South Halsted, Chicago). Guest speakers include: James Abourezk - former Democratic Senator from South Dakota, and the first Arab-American to serve in the United States Senate. Founder of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. and Allison Weir – founder of 'If Americans Knew' - a non-profit organization focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflict and U.S. foreign policy regarding the Middle East.
