2008 Constitution Day Celebration Kicks It Up A Notch with Washington, You’re Fired!

We The People Foundation presents patriotic films and symposium on the National Mall, September 16-17, 2008
LOCATION: Washington, DC National Mall – Constitution Gardens

DATE & TIME: September 16 & 17 / Festivities Commence at 6:00 PM on Sept. 16th

NO INVITATION REQUIRED:
Ladies and Gentlemen… WE THE PEOPLE Foundation does hereby proclaim by virtue of birth resulting in individual Sovereignty - all ‘citizens’ are hereby invited to attend a very special celebration in honor of the 221st Anniversary of the Signing of the United States Constitution.

Guaranteed to ruffle a few feathers, We The People Foundation will present Washington, You’re Fired!—A Film About The Destruction and Rescue of the U.S. Constitution. The screening will take place in the evening hours just after sun down on Sept. 16th as the activities and workshops drum into the morning hours of the 17th. The foundation has chosen just three films - Washington, You’re Fired!, America-Freedom to Fascism and 1776, each with an emphasis on Liberty and the Constitution as a way to celebrate this special day in American History!

CONSTITUTION 101:
Washington, You’re Fired! was filmed in the Nation’s capitol; as well as New Orleans, Denver, and other locations throughout the United States. Much of the inspiration and interviews were a result of visiting civil protests held in the Capitol area and several of these interviews were conducted on the National Mall. “It is befitting that this film is shown in celebration of our nation’s Constitution,” stated the film’s co-writer Keith Abel.

ACTIVITIES & ATTIRE:
Activities on the 17th include a 9:30 AM march from Constitution Gardens to the White House lawn wielding signs demanding that the President of The United States “Respond to the Petitions for Redress” and “Obey the Constitution.” Please bring a sign! Festivities throughout the day may require the use of a ‘’V’’ costume. Many protestors will be dressed in full ‘’V’’ regalia. Motivational workshops and organizing efforts will fill the remainder of the afternoon.
