Be sure to read Footnote 37 on the racist, anti-workingclass jury selection of the district attorney of Pennsylvania, starting on page 88 and ending at page 93.

Please note it was Democrat Ed Rendell (now Governor of Pennsylvania) who was the district attorney who framed Mumia Abu-Jamal and it is Democrat Lynn Abraham who continues promoting the frame-up and possible execution. Lots of other Democrats support the murder of Mumia Abu-Jamal, including Nancy Pelosi and Dennis Kucinich. See the House's Roll Call vote 527 of Dec. 6, 2006 condemning St. Denis, France for naming a street after Mumia Abu-Jamal at:

The Democratic Party, like the Republican Party, is a death penalty party. The 2 parties opposing the death penalty and the prison-punishment system are the socialist party on your ballot and the Green Party. You have to vote your conscience if you want the death penalty and the prison-punishment system to be abolished.

The only acceptable decision is to free Mumia Abu-Jamal as he is obviously innocent and every single one of these justices knows it as they have had the facts presented to them in many briefs and orally. Mumia is clearly a political prisoner and a victim of the racist, anti-workingclass criminal injustice system that still has the anti-workingclass, racist death penalty, unlike much of the world, and still promotes prisons as punishment for the workingclass, primarily the African-American and Latino workingclass. It will take a serious labor movement to finally free Mumia, abolish the death penalty and abolish the prison-punishment system. This is the 21st Century. Now is the time to get off the dime. The dissent's discussion of the racist jury system is worth reading if you still have any illusions in the American legal system providing justice. It is just as racist and anti-workingclass today as it was in 1981 and Pennsylvania, a northern labor state, is no better than all the other so-called labor states.
