Capitalist globalization is the dominant reality of the day. Can the world's working class and oppressed peoples build a people's globalization
that can check transnational capital and even win battles? Scott Marshall, Labor Secretary of the Communist Party, USA and longtime trade union activist, thinks it can and must be done.

Some of the critical questions to be addressed by Marshall include: What is the significance of unions being established at Wal-Mart in China? What should we make of cross-border solidarity as exampled by the World Social Forum, the growing international peace movement and global environmental campaigns? How does the recent split in the U.S. labor movement relate to globalization?

This veteran activist of many labor battles will be sharing his historical insights as well as current analysis. As always, this presentation will be followed by a stimulating Q&A session.
