Art & Revolution will combine its noon S26 action with a the Steelworkers scheduled 12:00 p.m. action at Harris Bank, 111 W Monroe St. in the Chicago loop. The Steelworkers have picketed Harris Bank branches across the metro Chicago area in recent months to protest the financial giant's bankrolling of millions of dollars in loans to Titan Tires, which locked out its workers on May 1, 1998. The 2 1/2 year old lockout was instigated by Titan Tire to undercut workers' demands for fair wages and benefits.

Steelworkers' organizers report that Harris management has become increasingly concerned about the impact these pickets have had on the bank's customer base.
