BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - A gathering for anarchists in the Great Lakes area will be held Saturday August 19th through Sunday August 20 in Bowling Green, Ohio, 20 miles south of Toledo.

The purpose of this gathering is to create a network and share skills with anarchists in the region so that we may work and plan more effectively together in the future, allowing us to coordinate better, fight more effectively, and remain safe when confronting police and others.

There are some really good workshops and presentations being put on, including workshops on militant/insurrectionary actions, communications/networking, and a hand-to-hand combat/self defense class being put on by a professional mixed martial arts fighter. There will also be a regional Anti-Racist Action meeting as well as a dinner and a concert.

Toledo and Bowling Green area anarchists will provide housing for those who need it, and people are welcome to arrive Friday night if it is more convenient. Some food will be provided.
