Third Coast Press (www.thirdcoastpress.com), Chicago's progressive newspaper, is looking for volunteers to help us keep tabs on our website and make sure it gets updated on a regular basis. We estimate that this would require less than 10 hours a month.

We also need a highly skilled web/print designer to work with our Art Director, Emily. You must be able to work primarily online and over the phone.

Writers, editors, photographers, designers and cartoonists are always encouraged to join our staff.

Third Coast Press began as a monthly publication in January of 2005. After 14 issues (with an estimated readership of over 20,000 people a month), we shifted to an online-only format.

Unfortunately, we are ALL-VOLUNTEER at this time, but we do offer the opportunity to help create a strong, progressive media alternative in Chicago. If you look at our website, you will see that we produced a well-designed, well-edited, well-written print publication. We are working to recreate ourselves as an online publication.
