6:00-8:00 P.M.

(National labor leader Nancy Wohlforth was an instrumental force in the recent adoption by the AFL-CIO of a resolution calling for the rapid return of all U.S. troops from Iraq, the first time that the federation has taken a position squarely in opposition to a major U.S. foreign policy or military action. She was also a key organizer of a recent 25-city U.S. tour by top Iraqi labor leaders.)
THE REV. DR. CALVIN S. MORRIS

Remarks by VIRGINIA LINARES
Virginia Linares is a member of UE Local 1104, whose son recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq with the U.S. military.
COME GET ANSWERS to these critical questions:
. What is the real price that American working people, our
families and our communities are paying because of the U.S.
occupation of Iraq?
. Even if the war is wrong, will it make things worse if the
U.S. pulls out?
. What do Iraqi trade unionists have to say about the
devastating effects of the continuing occupation of their country?
. Having invaded and occupied Iraq, what are our
responsibilities to the Iraqi people?
. What can we do to end the occupation and bring our troops
home now?
