10th Annual People's Thanksgiving

Saturday, December 1st, 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Hot House, 31 E. Balbo, Chicago
We started this tradition in 1992. That year, all over the Americas, people protested 500 years of racism since the arrival of Colombus. Each year since then, we have come together - to correct the racist myth of Thanksgiving; to honor the indigenous people of the Americas; and to give thanks for another year of struggle and advances for the movements we are part of - labor, community, anti-war, and anti-racist struggles.

Join us instead in recognizing the fighters who stand up to the attacks we face here at home. Each year, we give thanks for advances and victories in our struggles: against racist, national oppression; for workers' rights; and against U.S. intervention and war.
