It's the Clintons again.

In Paul v. William Jefferson Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, et al, the Clintons now bring us another first -- the first President and Senator to be charged with conspiring with others to commit fraud, deceit and conspiracy. The allegations in this suit resulted in the first indictment of a U.S. Senator's Finance Director for campaign fraud. The California Supreme Court recently ruled that former President and Senator Clinton must proceed to trial.

The purpose of the suit is to hold Hillary Clinton and former President Clinton accountable for a multimillion dollar fraud they perpetrated on Peter Paul. The litigation will show irrefutable evidence that Hillary Clinton personally orchestrated the criminal misconduct for which her finance director has been indicted.

United States of America v. David Rosen is a four-count indictment charging Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate Campaign National Finance Director, Henry Rosen, with defrauding the Federal Election Commission in order to elect Hillary Clinton to the U.S. Senate by obtaining and misreporting more than $1.2 million in cash and in-kind contributions made by Peter Paul in connection with the campaign's biggest fundraising event.
What this all boils down to is that shortly before Hellary (misspelling intentional) was elected to the New York Senate seat her campaign manager, Henry Rosen, hid $800,000 of Peter Paul's contributions to Clinton's campaign. That, of course, raises questions about the legitimacy of Sen. Clinton's senate seat -- questions that actually are rather moot since she's acting as senator.

In an interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity recently Paul said, "There was a relationship that I had with the Clintons that extended over a period of a half-year. During the course of that relationship, they induced me to become Hillary's biggest contributor."

Paul says he donated $1.2 million to Hillary's campaign by underwriting most of the expenses for an Aug. 12, 2000 Hollywood celebrity gala fund-raiser. In a statement posted to his Web site, Peter Paul said that if his contribution had been properly reported to the Federal Election Commission as a hard-money donation, "it could have bankrupted the campaign."

Paul stated in his pending civil suit that in July of 2000 Bill Clinton had agreed to work with him and two of his companies for a $15 million package consisting of stock, cash and a contribution to the Clinton library. Paul was especially interested in Bill Clinton's help to rapidly expand Stan Lee Media, a public company he had founded so these waters run deep and murky.

Judging from past experience, the Clintons will find a way out of this -- a murder here, an indictment/jail term there -- but at least the country will have the entertainment of watching them worm out of another one. Along with the astonishment of watching some of our fellow countrymen who honestly don't see what crooks and scum these people are and cheer them on, blaming everyone but the Clintons for their troubles.
