Dear Animal Activists -

I am writing to you today about The Coalition for a Humane Economy
(CHE), a Cincinnati-based coalition of many diverse groups who are
promoting the establishment of a more humane system of economics, trade,

and commerce worldwide. CHE is sponsoring a series of events in
response to the upcoming conference of the Transatlantic Business
Dialogue (TABD), to be held November 16-18 in Cincinnati, Ohio. At this

TABD conference, CEO's from many of the world's largest corporations
will be meeting with high ranking government officials, from the US and
the European Union, to discuss trade barriers.

CHE will hold several demonstrations and the Animal Rights Community is
planning to join them in at their Friday, November 17th demonstration at

the Omni Netherland Hotel where the TABD is meeting. ARC will meet at
Fountain Square at 11 a.m.. We plan to protest P&G and the TABD for
their support for cosmetic and product testing on animals. Though the
European Union (EU) originally proposed a ban against cosmetic products
being tested on animals, they have since backed down to the TABD's
desires.

As many as a thousand protesters are expected at this demonstration.
The city's police officers, along with other law enforcement agencies,
say they will be poised to mobilize if needed, but CHE is committed to
making this a non-violent protest and have secured a permit for this
event.

We want to stress very strongly that this demonstration is expected to
be peaceful. According to Captain Vince Demasi, commander of the
Cincinnati Police Division's District 1 (as quoted in the Cincinnati
Enquirer regarding the CHE protests):

“People have a constitutional right to protest peacefully, which covers
downtown. “They've assured me that they're non-violent and I have no
reason not to believe that."

We are very excited about this protest which promises to be a MAJOR
media event! We hope that you will be able to join us for this peaceful

and lawful demonstration.

D.A./C.D. DEMONSTRATION

T.A.B.D. influences the WTO to vote against ceasing animal tests. Companies
and governments worldwide are forced to comply!

Not an actual headline from a newspaper but a possible reality if the
Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue gets it way. Homogenized policy for
protecting animals and yet not one animal rights organization or group is
represented only CEO’s and government officials.
Proctor and Gamble has been chosen for the focus of the protest since it is
by far one of the largest corporations responsible for animal suffering.
Come voice your opposition accompanied by thousands of other protesters to
tell Proctor and Gamble and the T.A.B.D. that we have had enough! Take
Action!

Who: You !

What: Direct Action Protest of P&G's animal testing procedures and the
T.A.B.D.
