Tomorrow, Tuesday evening, March 1st, Ald. Manny Flores will hold his Community Meeting to discuss possible zoning changes at the Frederick Cooper Lamps site with neighborhood residents and hear their feedback.

Workers from Frederick Cooper will meet at the factory at 6:00 PM and march to the meeting. They are going to support the community in their demands to stop out of control condo development. They are demanding jobs and a decent severance package from the owners of their company. Their sell-out union representatives in Teamsters Local 743 have rolled over and accepted the company's lousy offer - pennies for severance and no offer of jobs if the company reopens in the Chicago area.
