Dr. Sami Al-Jumaili, a surgeon at Falluja General Hospital, was desperate last week, as the Bush administration launched an all-out battle to “ retake ” the city.

With the U. S. elections over, the Bush administration has unleashed its bloody assault in the hopes of stamping out the Iraqi resistance.

And, like during the Vietnam War, U.S. rulers are willing to go to any lengths to win--including raiding and bombing hospitals and blocking the city’s exits--effectively trapping tens of thousands of impoverished civilians in the paths of U.S. bombs.
