Chicago Independent Television will be cablecast on CAN TV (cable channel 19 in Chicago) on the following dates in November:

Saturday 11/20/04 at 10:00PM
Monday 11/29/04 at 6:30PM
Tuesday 11/30/04 at 1:30PM

This month’s show is a repeat that was originally cablecast last March and includes the following features:

- An update of a lawsuit on behalf of Chicago antiwar protesters
- Local efforts to oppose the Israeli wall being built in the West Bank.
- Chicago protests on behalf of same-sex marriage
- And two features about dancing--one with a local activist group, and another with traditional Aztec dance.

WHO WE ARE:
The Chicago Independent Media Center Video Collective produces Chicago Independent Television. In the summer of 2003 the idea of an independent television show, free from corporate bias and serving the needs of the community, was conceived. Chicago Independent Television is the result of that movement.

We are looking for videos between 3 to 8 minutes in length, ideally, but if you have pieces that are longer or shorter than this, please feel free to submit them too and we’ll see what we can do.
