After 10 years of hiding out in Florida former Police Commander Jon Burge has been forced to come back to Chicago to give testimony under oath in the civil suits of pardoned death row inmates Madison Hobley and Aaron Patterson.

In 1993 Burge was fired after a highly publicized report exposed his twenty year practice of using systematic torture involving a ring of detectives against over 100 Black and Latino men.

Finally family members and other activists will get the opportunity to protest in the vicinity of the man who tortured their loved ones and destroyed so many lives.

This location has been changed from the earlier one. Burge appealed to a Judge and got it moved to his offices. See above.
