A portion of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. will be shut down from 4:00 p.m. Thursday Sept 28 through 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 2 for security reasons centered around the IMF/WB meetings that weekend. Students living in resident halls in the closed section of the university will not be allow to in their rooms that weekend and students residing on other parts of the campus are "urged" to carry their Gworld ID "in order to gain access to University buildings [including their rooms]." GW students will not be allowed to have visitors at the dorms that will remain open if these people are not GW students. Much more in this letter from the university.
