PD. Just a quick update from the Taco Bell Truth Tour (14 days and counting!).....

Tom Morello, guitarist for the ground-breaking music group Rage Against the
Machine (and recently named "Best Guitarist" at the 24th Annual California
Music Awards), has confirmed that he will be joining us at the Sept. 24th
demonstration outside Taco Bell corporate headquarters in Irvine, California.

He will be one of the featured speakers on the program that afternoon at the
rally in front of the monolithic, black glass skyscraper that houses the
brain trust of Taco Bell's global operation.

[For those of you who have seen the movie "The Matrix" -- the closing song of
which is entitled "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine -- you know just how
truly appropriate that is!]

And speaking of appropriate... Naomi Klein, the author of the must-read book
on the growing movement for corporate accountability entitled "No Logo", has
also confirmed that she will be joining activists at the Taco Bell protests
planned for Washington, DC, as part of the "Mobilization for Global Justice",
in the last week of September.

"No Logo", along with "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser, are the two books
we recommend on our web site to anyone interested in a broader understanding
of the logic of the Taco Bell boycott.

We are honored to have both Tom Morello and Naomi Klein joining us in this
campaign. As we write, more endorsements and commitments are in the works,
and we will be sure to keep you updated as they come in -- until then, Greg
Asbed, CIW
