CAN TV presents two Community Forum programs that address the Wal-Mart issue on Saturday May 22, at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on CAN TV21.

Presented in two parts, Illinois Labor Works: Why Wal-Mart is Bad for a City that Works features guests, Elizabeth Drea, Local 881 UFCW, James Thindwa, executive director of Chicago Jobs with Justice, Dorian Warren, Chicago Worker's Rights Board, and Renaye Manley, AFL-CIO speaking about the impact that Wal-Mart will have on Chicago's communities from labor's point of view. The
programs are hosted by Bob Bruno, Associate Professor, Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations, Chicago Labor Education Program,
University of Illinois at Chicago.

CAN TV's Community Forum provides a platform for local groups to share news, information and alternative viewpoints on health issues,
economic development, affordable housing, immigration, violence prevention and other issues.
