AMIRI BARAKA! Hear the speaker Loyola University Chicago tried to suppress!
AMIRI BARAKA!
Poet, playwright, teacher, & revolutionary
Originally invited by Loyola University Chicago's Black History Month planning committee to be the keynote speaker for the University's Black History Month celebrations, Baraka was "disinvited" by the University administration due to his controversial past and his 9-11 poem, “Somebody Blew Up America”.
