More Casualties of the Drug War

Police in rural Wisconsin create more Civilian Casualties in the War on Drugs.
As their three-year-old daughter watched, Jesus and Wendy Olveda were pressed to the floor of their home by gun-toting S.W.A.T. officers. Police had raided their home in the small rural town of Dalton, Wisconsin hoping to find drugs. What they found was the wrong address. Wendy Olveda, an elementary school teacher, has long organized anti-drug programs for her schoolchildren; but following last Thursday's raid, she is re-considering the merits of the "drug war."
