Next, China Radio International- the removal of the U.S. from the U.N. Human Rights Commission is discussed along with the U.S. Congressional threat to stop funding the U.N.; Chinese government officials explain why the U.S. spy plane isn't flying home.
From Radio Deutsche Welle a story about an E.U. delegation going to view Chechniya, to assess human rights violations, after condemning Russia for "excess use of force."
Radio Havana Cuba- 18 military officers in Peru are in prison for drug charges and they all worked with the CIA and DEA; Fidel is making a big splash in Iran and the Ayatohla praises Cuban resistance; an opinion piece on why the U.S. also lost its seat on the U.N. International Narcotics Control Board; and workers unions around the Americas are uniting to prevent the worsening of 3rd world conditions as a result of the recent Summit of the Americas.
