16th Annual World Day of Action Against McDonalds - Monday, October 16th

McDonalds is the biggest purchaser and promoter of beef in the world. Whether it is the murder of non-human animals, vegetarian issues, exploitative marketing to kids, environmentally destructive practices or exploitative labor practices, they will always be fair game. We all should do what we can to educate our community about them.

The 16th annual "World Day of Action Against McDonalds is Monday, Oct 16th (UN World Food Day). Join us in our protest of McDonalds and its many repulsive operating practices.

There are many ways you can participate:
-Talk to friends, family, class, club, etc.
-Table & or Leaflet at school, events or other well traveled areas.
-Poster your neighborhood.
-Write to local news papers, editorials, school paper, etc..
-Leaflet or protest at your local McDonalds of your choice.

More ideas and resources, articles, history, press releases, etc. are available at McSpotlight.org. See campaigns for resources such as leaflets and other graphics.

Help us put it all together in Chicago! We need help with things like gathering food and cooking, making puppet costumes and other theater stuffs, outreach (send this notice to friends, post it up on notice boards, making calls), making posters, bringing buckets for DIY drums, carpooling, etc.
