Lawyer Needed: USA Today refuses to print Veterans Ad
USA today is requiring "Proof" of certain statements in an ad of conscience signed by 1000 veterans. Isn't this an attempt at censorship?
We are trying to get the Veterans Call to Conscience printed in the International Edition of the USA Today. It looks like this will be more of a battle. Here is what they said after reviewing the statement. Any help you could offer with this would be appreciated, is this normal?
In the text there are claims made about orders given during the Gulf War. We need proof of those orders/information backing these claims.
Thanks.
Molly
This is the section of the statement in question (see entire statement:

In the last Gulf War, as troops, we were ordered to murder from a safe distance. We destroyed much of Iraq from the air, killing hundreds of thousands, including civilians. We remember the road to Basra -- the Highway of Death -- where we were ordered to kill fleeing Iraqis. We bulldozed trenches, burying people alive.
