[Info about thursday]

In the morning university was totally stopped and students started a demo -with no permission- and geaded for the city center. They were thousands, and workers started to join in. When they got to Congress police charged, but the mass resisted there for hours.

In the afternoon thousands of protesters took the Puerta del Sol. A group of about five thousand people headed for Congress...There were about two hundred cops there with barricades, but when the mass was about 10 yards from them they started to take away the barricades, step aside and let the people get right to the Congress door!

Later that night there were three more incidents with the police. The first one in Puerta del Sol, after some protesters started a small fire and, about an hour later there were incidents near the US embassy and Partido Popular (the party of president Aznar) building.
