MAY 1st RCP DRAFT PROGRAMME RELEASE PARTY

LOOKING FOR A PLAN TO CHANGE THE WORLD? HERE IT IS!
On May 1st the Revolutionary Communist Party will release its Draft Programme for revolution. This is a Road Map for winning a revolution right here in the USA. And it spells out in detail what it will take to transform the former USA into a liberated, socialist country. It poses clear solutions to end the horrors of capitalism -- including white supremacy, the subjugation of women, the attacks on immigrants and imperialist globalization. And it answers which class has the revolutionary potential to lead all this.

Come to the DRAFT PROGRAMME RELEASE PARTY -- May 1st, 7 p.m., Revolution Books, 1103 N. Ashland Ave. (following the Human Chain on Ashland Ave.).

TRAVIS MORALES TO SPEAK ON FORGING THE BATTLE PLAN FOR REVOLUTION. May 5th, 2 -4:30 p.m., Union Park Fieldhouse, 1501 W. Randolph (1 block east of Ashland stop on the Green Line)

JOIN A COAST-TO-COAST, BORDER TO BORDER REVOLUTIONARY CONVERSATION. Already the contributions of many proletarians, researchers, Spanish translators and youth investigations teams have produced a powerful Draft Programme. On May 5th Travis Morales comes to Chicago to talk about plans to take this out for discussion and debate to farmers, Native American reservations, universities, housing projects and to the new generation of youth on the frontlines. If you refuse to accept this as the "best of all possible worlds" and are searching for a way to change the world from top to bottom, then you need to contribute to this process of creating a final programme.

WHO IS TRAVIS MORALES? Travis is a longtime revolutionary from the US Southwest. He is a supporter of the RCP and a National Council member of La Resistencia which for 13 years has been building the national movement against all attacks on immigrants and against the militarization of the border. Travis' revolutionary origins date back to Houston's historic 1978 Cinco de Mayo rebellion against police murder where he was arrested and faced 140 years for "felony riot". Currently, Travis faces 6 months in jail charged with "storming the barricades" at the legal lynching of Shaka Sankofa in Huntsville, Texas last June. Anti-immigrant architect Sen. Alan Simpson once said about Travis: "I am frightened by your program, I am frightened by you."

"Of all the tyrants and oppressors in the world, there is none that has caused more untold suffering and created more screaming injustices against the people of the world than the rulers of the USA. . .500 years of capitalism has shown what their system is all about. TIME'S UP!" -- Draft Programme of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA
