The Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual & Transgendered Community is Coming Out Against War and Racism!

More and more members of the Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual and
Transgendered community recognize that the war on the people of Iraq by selected Pres. Bush (with the acquiesence of both parties in Congress)is not about stopping weapons of mass destruction but is instead increasing U.S. power at the expense of the people of the region. We join with the overwhelming majorities in most countries of the world in rejecting Bush's war and the greatly increased death and suffering it will cause.

Come to an Action Forum with Leslie Feinberg, author of Stone Butch Blues and a leading activist with the International A.N.S.W.E.R.(Act Now to Stop War and Racism) Coalition. S/he is the winner of the ALA Gay and Lesbian Literature Award, the Lamda Literary Award and the Firecracker Alternative Book Award for nonfiction. Leslie
has been a speaker at the massive antiwar demonstrations held this past year in Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

The forum is from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 23rd at the Chicago Temple, 77 West Washington at the corner of Washington and Clark (just across from Daley Plaza).
