People agreed that a key task right now is to broaden the message about the emergency response plan far beyond Chicago's activist community.

This is not only about ensuring the largest possible turnout for these various protests, important as that is. But by communicating to those organizing this war our serious commitment to mobilizing high energy action against it, we are using perhaps our last best opportunity to PREVENT this war by bluntly telling the administration the high political cost we are prepared to make it pay for organizing the slaughter.

A key component to informing "non-political" Chicagoans about the emergency plan is to begin systematic leaflet distribution at el stations, shopping districts, etc. To facilitate this, attached please find a pdf of the Emergency Response flyers.

We are asking affinity groups and other organizations to please begin distributing this as soon as possible so that Chicago can continue increasing its contribution to the international anti-war movement. Thank you.
