First part of three part picture story from Wednesday March 5th Student Rally and March at Federal Plaza. Federal Plaza was the meeting point following city and suburb wide walkouts and teach-ins in solidarity with other schools across the nation. (article 1)

I went down to Federal Plaza after work and had a good time photographing the awesome students who seemed pretty excited to feel empowered to do something about their lives. Hopefully we can all take this empowerment to all areas of our lives and communities. Hope you like the pics!
