SPFPA America's Union for Security Professionals

SPFPA ANNOUNCES NEW STATEWIDE CAMPAIGN :
RESPECT FOR CALIFORNIA SECURITY PROFESSIONALS
There are approximately 160,000 Security Professional Officers in the State of California today. These Security Professionals Officers are the first line of defense in the event of a terrorist attack or a catastrophe.

A survey conducted from over 18,000 unorganized Security Professionals Officers throughout California proves these officers are under paid and deserve salaries and benefit packages that reflect the importance of the security work they perform.

This is why SPFPA will be the nucleus foundation to assist these officers to gain RESPECT for California Security Professionals !

SPFPA the largest Security Police Union in the United States today has now launched a statewide campaign to bring our message to both the public and to the 160,000 plus Security Professional Officers working in California.

SPFPA’s success so far in this statewide campaign has already begun to take shape with the recent merger of 1500 officers of Local 1 in Los Angeles, the statewide election of the 1200 Inter – Con Security Professionals Officers working to protect California’s governmental buildings, the anticipated filing for Allied security officers citywide in San Francisco this spring, the recent filing of a citywide election for the officers working for Pro-Tech in San Francisco as well as the overwhelming support from Pro-Tech officers at the Embarcadero Center in downtown San Francisco.

While the Pro-Tech Security Professional Officers working at Embarcadero Center are one of the highest paid officers in San Francisco with the most enriched comprehensive benefit package, Family Medical, Sick Days, Guaranteed Holidays, Vacation and Pension benefits the majority of these officers saw a need to be represented by SPFPA a REAL SECURITY, POLICE OFFICERS UNION, while disaffiliating from their present union, SEIU, who’s lack of service and inability to negotiate security officer contracts on behalf of its members is well documented.
