Speaking:
Kathy Kelly, initiator of Voices in the Wilderness, a campaign to end the UN/US sanctions against Iraq. Kathy Kelly has just returned from Iraq as part of the Iraq Peace Team, an international team working to prevent an escalation of the current war against Iraq.
Norman Finkelstein, Visiting Professor of Political Science at DePaul University, author of The Holocaust Industry and Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict, internationally recognized scholar on the theory of Zionism, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the Nazi holocaust will speak about the impact of the War in Iraq on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Peter Kimball, Representative of the International ANSWER coalition, the anti-war coalition that initiated bi-coastal mass demonstrations against the War in Iraq on October 26th that drew nearly 300,000 anti-war demonstrators into the streets of Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. The ANSWER coalition has also initiated the upcoming mass anti-war demonstrations on January 18th. Information about buses going to Washington for the demonstration will be available at the event.
