Walking the Way of Wisdom
“Wisdom calls aloud in the streets. She raises her voice in the public squares. She calls
out at the street corners. She delivers her message at the city gates.” (Proverbs 1.20-21)

We will walk wisdom’s path through Chicago’s places of power to raise our voices for a
more just world. And for this reason we believe the day is rightly called “Good.” It is
a day when hundreds of people doing organizing, resisting and transforming structures in
a myriad of ways come together to renew their energy and friendships for the continuing
work of justice.

This year groups that will lead us in reflections are: The Anawim Center, The Interfaith
Prisoners of Conscience Project and the National Boricus Human rights Network, Jubilee
Economics Ministries, Loyola Students Against Sweatshops, Voices in the Wilderness, The
American Friends Service Committee, Colombia Tribunal and the School of the Americas
Watch-IL, Sarah Circle, the Christian Council on Urban Affairs, Illinois Coalition
Against the Death Penalty, 8th Day Center for Justice.

Bring your goodself, your signs, your spirit of wisdom to share with others!
