Exhibit runs November 15 - December 21, 2002
Group show presenting artwork by faculty from art academies in three former Yugoslav countries: Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. This effort testifies that art can be used as cultural enlightenment and as a tool in building bridges among artists themselves, their countries and the larger world. Artists from the region not only help to recreate a more civil society, but also serve as leaders and pioneers on that path.
The participating artists work in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, photography, aerography, video installation, animation, sculpture, digital imagery, etc. and have exhibited their work internationally.
