What is happening in Milwaukee is an effort to privatize public services and institutions. We understand that efforts of corporatization and privatization will continue to undermine the ability of communities of color to establish and develop economic structures which will effectively sustain prosperity through wage stability as a means to address issues of poverty reduction and revenue enhancement for dignified public education. Given the context of Milwaukee, it becomes necessary to work to “Create Alternative Economic Structures in Our Urban Communities” - economies that respect and support the people first.

See you at the Teach-In! Also, mark your calendar, the Reverend Al Sharpton will be in Downtown Milwaukee Thursday, June 13th, Noon at the MATC Auditorium. Presented by Education For The People and the United States Green Party. Details will be sent soon.
